Gary H. Peterson & Company Construction and Development is a multi-faceted construction and development firm headquartered in Saint George, Utah, specializing in quality commercial, industrial, steel frame construction, single family custom and multi-family residential housing construction and development. The Mayor of Saint George recently selected and appointed Gary Peterson to serve on the Board of Adjustments committee for the City of Saint George which oversees and enforces building, zoning and variance ordinances for Saint George. Gary H. Peterson & Company is highly regarded by the various city and county building, development and engineering departments as well as being very well respected by our peers, our suppliers and by the subcontractors we use. Gary H. Peterson and Company is also very proud to be aligned with Gilbert Development Corporation, one of the largest and most successful development and mining contractors in Utah, as their building partner and contractor. We have built, and are currently building residential, commercial and industrial buildings for them as well as having a number of other building projects on the “drawing board” that are slated to start in the near future.
As well as his construction and development expertise, Gary Peterson has an extensive retail and customer service background and is extremely good with clients from a sales standpoint, architectural design, color and materials selection and follow through. An eye for detail and customer service, his business ethics and his personal and company integrity are the things he is most proud of. Gary was appointed to the position of the President of the Board of the Merchants Association of a large shopping center in California prior to moving to Utah 14 years ago and served in that capacity for 6 years. He is very involved within the surrounding community with church and civic functions as well as having been the Supervisor of Officials for all of Southern Utah in the sport of high school football. He is also a Division I college football official in the Big Sky Conference and is highly regarded in the conference because of his professionalism and integrity.
