Dixie State College offers associate degrees and certificate programs that meet the needs of students, the community and the state. DSC also offers eight baccalaureate programs in high demand areas and in core or foundational areas consistent with four-year colleges. Currently, students can earn Bachelor's degrees in Biology, Business Administration, Computer & Information Technology, Communication & New Media, Dental Hygiene, English, Elementary Education and Nursing. DSC's new mission will pave the way to more and more bachelor's degrees in the coming years. DSC is home to some of the top health science programs in the state, including a nursing program that achieved the highest student pass rate among all programs in the state on the RN licensure exam the past three years and a dental hygiene program that consistently scores among the top-10 percent in the nation in board exams. DSC also offers a wide variety of associate degree and certificate programs, as well as a number of adult education opportunities. The Insitute for Continued Learning (ICL), with educational courses in music, dance, theater and art, is also available for retired and semi-retired individuals, as is the DSC Elderhostel program. Community involvement is key to the success of Dixie State College. DSC provides many cultural opportunities for the community, many of which are now featured in the state-of-the-art Eccles Fine Arts Center. DSC also sponsors a Celebrity Concert Series, the annual Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show, and the Tanner Amphitheater Summer Concert Series at Zion Nat'l Park.
