Pro Mailing Systems is a business that provides bulk-mailing services for other businesses. We offer services related to addressing and preparation of mail pieces. Our company differs from other mailing businesses in the fact that we only process direct mail and do not offer the services of package mailing, or mail box rentals.The client brings in 200 or more pieces of same weight mail for standard (bulk) mail; or 500 pieces or more for First Class mail. Pro Mailing Systems verifies that the mail piece meets the physical requirements of the United States Postal Service (USPS).Mail pieces that are already labeled are sorted by zip code and packaged according to USPS requirements. If the mail pieces are not addressed already, Pro Mailing Systems will import the client data into USPS approved software, validate the addresses, and print the customer database onto the mail piece. The addresses are printed with bar coding and other postal requirements. Mailing reports are generated and mail is taken to a postal receiving center where the mail is weighed, verified, and postage is paid.The United States Postal Service offers discounts on postage for “sharing” or sorting the mail down to automation or carrier routes. The postage discounts are then passed on to the customer. A processing fee is charged for each piece, and the customer pays less than the current first class letter rate.Pro Mailing Systems offers other services like folding, tabbing, metering and envelope inserting. We can handle anything from post cards, letters, magazines, catalogs, etc.
